A Family Affair with track and field…

The Reindl family live and breathe track and field.  Bob and Caren were outstanding athletes in their time, Bob excelling as a middle distance runner and Caren achieving great success as a sprinter.  Both Bob and Caren have made their mark on the National and International scene.  As Bob continues to give back to track and field working as the executive director for Sask Athletics, Caren has established herself as an outstanding Masters athlete.  Caren and Bob have also passed their love of track and field to their children, Kyle and Jason.

As a young athlete Kyle excelled in the hurdles and in the year 2000 was selected as the Bob Adams Foundation midget track and field athlete of the year.  Today his love of athletics has evolved to coaching youth soccer, an activity that his family truly enjoys.

Jason, had a love for the sprints and the hurdles as a young athlete, then realized that his true calling leaned towards coaching track and field. He was selected the Men’s Coach of the Year when working with the University of New Brunswick track team.  Since moving back to Saskatoon Jason has been coaching the University of Saskatchewan Huskies track and cross country teams.  In 2019 he was selected as the Sask Sport Coach of the Year.

Please check out the amazing accomplishments of this track and field family.
